After training it to your voice by reading out a set piece of text in your natural tone and voice, Dragon sets up a profile for you.
I defy anyone not to tryout the current version and not be super impressed. Nuance are the market leaders in this field, and for good reason.
#Dragon naturally speaking update software
Anyone vaguely familiar with this type of software may be used to clunky products that struggle to recognize simple words, let alone sentences and so on. Pros: I have used Nuance Dragon Speech Recognition software for several years, from version 12 to the current version 15 for PC. I think you'll really find it'll improve your productivity. It's intuitive, it literally takes your words and types them for you.
If you're looking for a software to help the typist that you're not, this is the software to go. Literally took me a half hour and it was in our system. If you're looking to get the software into your business, it's fairly easy to onboard, it's intuitive, and you'll find that once you do, it's actually not very difficult to do. And I did and a slight learning curve at the beginning, but now I'm an expert and it's easy to use and it has saved me a ton of time. And so I decided well, I'm not very good at typing, maybe I should give this a try. I have a friend who is actually a physician and he would use it for his dictation. The reason why I chose Dragon software is I had heard about it. So I decided that I would look into Dragon and wow, it really worked for me. I decided to go with Dragon software because I was not a very good typist and I was taking forever to type reports and communicate and do dictation, and typing just wasn't working for me. I'm Director of Operations for a construction company, and I'm reviewing Dragon speech software and the review I'm giving it is five stars.
